Greg Anderson made his NHRA pro stock debut behind the wheel of his father-in-law Troy Humphrey's Pontiac Trans Am. He captured his first Pro Stock win at Bristol in 2000. In 2004, Greg set several NHRA records: 16 number one Pro Stock qualifying positions, 15 NHRA POWERADE Pro Stock event wins, 72 round wins in a single racing season, most points accumulated in a Pro category (2,402), and largest points margin of victory in a Pro category (742). He also holds 24 track records and is a three-time NHRA POWERADE Pro Stock World Champion in 2003, 2004, and 2005. Greg was also voted the 2004 Speed Channel Driver of the Year. Anderson is only the second drag racer to receive what is considered the most prestigious individual honor in American motorsports.
