Larry Morgan finished in the Pro Stock top ten for the first time in 1989. That year, he also dominated Indianapolis, winning the event and earning $50,000 in the Pro Stock bonus event. He ended up winning the bonus event in 1990 and '92 as well. In 1997, Larry made his first final-round appearance in three years with a runner-up finish at Topeka. He debuted the Dodge Neon at Denver in 2001. In 2002, he won his first race (Sonoma) since 1994. He also earned a $30,000 bonus for winning the Motel 6 ‘Who Got the Light’ award for posting the smallest margin of victory during the season. In 2004, Larry's No. 1 qualifying position at Atlanta snapped an 11-race top qualifying streak by Greg Anderson. Larry also recorded his career-best time and speed in 2005.
